Traditional Chinese Medicine theories:
- It has 14 channels or meridians like a web spread over the human body.
- Each Channel or meridian connect the internal organ and named after them, for example, lung meridian, stomach meridian.
- Each meridian has numbers of acupuncture points, about 400 points on a human body.
- Qi ( or Chi, the vital energy) and blood flow inside of the channel or meridian.
- Acupuncture can improve the Qi and blood flow, unblock the qi and blood stagnations, balance the yin and yang, and enhance the function of the internal organs.
